schestowitz /etc/init.d/httpd restartJan 14 16:43
schestowitz it's worth running   /etc/init.d/httpd restart in case it falls over, I already use a third-party service to mail me with audio alert when my sites go down, but when I'm away (like this afternoon) or asleep it's of no useJan 14 16:44
schestowitz> Ok.  I have it restarting instead of mailing and it is now set in cronJan 14 16:54
schestowitz> to run as root every 5 minutes.Jan 14 16:54
schestowitzI guess doing both would be cool, to let me recheck after it restarts if I'm awake. Tracy thought about just rebuilding the server with new centos and apache but never got around to it. Recently downtimes lasting hours become routine, whereas they happened only a few times a year (or once) in prior years.Jan 14 16:54

schestowitzYeah, I was just kidding, although it is an old phone.Jan 14 17:47
schestowitzAnyway - being that old it is practically unable to spy on me, too. Of course it can be spied via cell tower triangulation, but that's just about it. No custom software option, no place for any user apps. Besides - I never carry my cell phone with me. I treat it like regular, old school phone.Jan 14 17:47
