schestowitz__I actually format all my drives as ext3/4. I think the hardware issues *might* be related to the hardware issues on the computer this drive was attached to. I need to do some further tests before RMA, and this might also require formatted as NTFS before returning to Seagate. Right now copying 3TB to 3TB, having formatted the new drive, then will try to re-format the old one and see how it copes. Would need to find a year-old receiptDec 18 14:08
