WHENEVER Microsoft releases a new product it quickly stuffs the channel and then brags about "sales" (to shops, not to customers). After the "KIN" disaster Microsoft was unable to stuff warehouses, so it never truly bragged about any numbers at all after it had released Vista Phony 7 [sic] to the tune of ~$500,000,000 in advertising. Well, guess what? Vista Phony 7 sales numbers appear to have been internally embargoed because Microsoft is dodging this question to which it certainly knows the answer. Microsoft's CEO has already admitted that XBox is having serious financial problems [...] They already try to reuse the brand "XBox" to refer to Vista 11
This is what happens when companies try to establish themselves on a mountain of promises and false assumptions, kicking the can down the road until payroll becomes hard to complete
