Summary: Instead of serving Portuguese people or serving thousands of EPO workers (including many who are Portuguese) the delegation from Portugal served the network of Campinos

IN parts 14 and (tomorrow's) 15 we'll see the degree of corruption at the EPO, Europe's second-largest institution now run by António Campinos, who approved for Benoît Battistelli unlawful regulations that he himself would enjoy for 3.5 years half a decade later.

The circle of enables or facilitators isn't hard to identity; these people constantly meet one another and arrange jobs for each other, sometimes without even advertising openings (for any real competition or hirings based on merit). We've been seeing many of the same things in the UPC; what we sometimes refer to as "Team UPC" overlaps Team Battistelli; they're not scientists but more like 'moles' of the patent litigation sector. They crush the law, they ignore constitutions, and they corrupt the media in order to seed lies.

"What we'll probably do some time soon is return to showing not only EPO abuses but also abuses by UPC proponents, who seek to do to patent courts what they've already done to patent offices."I was recently told that Team UPC is "Brute-forcing the PPA, ignoring Brexit once again," citing this update about Team UPC stating: "CONSIDERING that provisional application should only come into force when 13 Signatory States" (but it would be illegal to go ahead without the UK, which already left the EU).

"We have rumours that UPC proponents wants to go ahead and ignore Brexit and the UK requirement in the PPA," Benjamin Henrion states, demonstrating that just as EPO management constantly breaks the law in Team UPC it's pretty much the same. They've turned the media into a propaganda machine of illegal operations seeking to undermine constitutions, leaving such questions to be decided maybe a long time later when it's too complicated to undo the mess. What we'll probably do some time soon is return to showing not only EPO abuses but also abuses by UPC proponents, who seek to do to patent courts what they've already done to patent offices. It's vendor (or regulatory) capture.
