[05:46] schestowitz Last night's attack even took out the DB, for the first time AFAIK. [05:46] schestowitz Did you notice the pattern/s of the attack? I was asleep at the time. More in IRC logs. [05:46] schestowitz Rianne noticed slowdowns at first, didn't want to wake me up. [05:46] schestowitz The general response is to look into .htaccess and uncomment the right bits depending on attack pattern. [07:36] schestowitz I think I previously gave .htaccess pointers as well. [07:36] schestowitz Let's see if that happens a second time. I think it's the first such DB crash since Easter. When it was first set up. I didn't check logs (lack of time due to work 1-9am), but later I realised DDOS caused the incident.
