This includes cost/premium and coverage/benefits. The differences are driven by insurance underwriting which takes into account the population in each zip code and their level of usage (claims) under this plan. [07:56] schestowitz[TR2] This makes it difficult to have a generic discussion such as this one around whether the IBM Medicare Advantage plan for retirees is better or worse or the same for any 2 given people that don't live near each other. In my state there are over 19 Medicare Advantage plans and most have zero cost monthly premiums. IBM's 2 plans are very average and other plans are MUCH BETTER. Shop around. And IBM lied to us who joined in the late 70s and early 80s when Gerstner did the pension heist and the promised retiree medical benefits are 99% worse than promised during employment recruiting and onboarding. It gives highlights of 2206 no amount on premium. I don't know what you are referring to 83 % not sure you are even a retiree. As a private practice attorney and technical specialist, I would like to refute that. But looking across the profession, the uncomfortable truth is that this observation is not entirely inaccurate. Many private pra [11:38] schestowitz[TR2] ctice attorneys do present themselves as specialists across multiple technical fields when, in reality, the depth of their understanding can be quite shallow. A trend that I worry is
Bastian, yes fair point. It is a generalization. But even then, CII is a very broad field. I would contend that you are unlikely to have deep technical expertise in every possible technical area that falls under th [11:39] schestowitz[TR2] at umbrella term. Even AI/ML is a very broad field and not every attorney who claims to be an expert with deep technical expertise in AI/ML will be an expert in every sub-branch of that

I dont think this behaviour is really a choice; its more a product of how the profession has evolved. The huge growth in filings over the p [11:40] schestowitz[TR2] ast 20 years pushed firms to focus on volume over depth. Efficiency became the goal, and Hey Hi (AI) is just the latest and most predictable step in that direction.
