The effect of the Anthropic "messaging exercise" didn't last for too long. [06:23] schestowitz[TR2] The market was doing fine today. The limitations on who you can see dont become an issue until you have a serious issue (like cancer and you cant go to MD Anderson cause theyre not in network). Firefox 144 Now Available for Download, Heres Whats New
    [14:18] schestowitz[TR2]
    [14:18] schestowitz[TR2]

One of the most notable changes is the move from the older 3DES-CBC encryption scheme to AES-256-CBC for locally stored passwords, which makes Firefoxs built-in Password Manager more secure, protecting saved logins on disk.

    [14:18] schestowitz[TR2]

Mozilla notes that this change only affects local data; passwords synced through Firefox Sync were already using AES-256-GCM, which is even stronger and end-to-end encrypted.

Upgrade to VirtualBox 7.2 breaks networking for all guests
    [15:15] schestowitz[TR2]
    [15:15] schestowitz[TR2]

I quickly reverted to version 7.1, and everything was peachy. All the guests had proper networking. I then upgraded a second time, same problem. I then went reading through VirtualBox bug reports, and found some rather interesting issues raised for version 7.1, which are, apparently, still applicable to the latest edition. So, let me show you how you can fix and work around the broken netw [15:15] schestowitz[TR2] orking issue in VirtualBox 7.2. After me.
