[04:06] DaemonFC The limited availability of physician-assisted suicide leads to people who commit suicide anyway, but in some way that's extremely crude and messy and likely to traumatize other people.
[04:07] DaemonFC Like, oh I have cancer and they're talking weeks to live. "Splat on the Metra train." Then there's an entire train crew that got to look the guy in the eyes while he was killing himself.
[04:08] DaemonFC There's hundreds of people who will be hours late getting to work or where they need to go.
[04:08] DaemonFC It's such a mess that the funeral is closed casket and the relatives can't get closure.
[04:08] DaemonFC It leads to an even bigger problem.
[04:08] DaemonFC Or they shoot their brains out all over the wall and someone has to clean that up.
[04:09] DaemonFC You know, it's not good that there's no doctor-assisted suicide.
[04:09] DaemonFC There should be a three digit number to call when you need help committing suicide.
[04:09] DaemonFC Because 988 isn't going to help anyone. They just load you up with debt and give you some drug company brain chemicals.
[04:10] DaemonFC You get booted out, you still have the same problems that made you call 988 in the first place, and the ones they made.
[04:11] DaemonFC It's a dark subject and so it makes people not want to think about it and come up with pretend solutions.
[04:11] DaemonFC And those pretend solutions and not wanting to handle the problem lead to more problems. They keep giving "Suicide Prevention" more money each year. It's up 40% since 2000.
