Techrights Extends Wishes of Good Health to Richard M. Stallman
OUR crew is deeply saddened to have just learned (from seemingly reliable sources) that Richard Stallman has cancer. Dr. Stallman (who was at the front page of Techrights when we ran the Drupal section!) is very inspirational to us. We posted a decade-old video of him just over a week ago. According to what we heard, "RMS was undergoing cancer treatment [and] I think he said he believes he can recover from it [...] I saw a photo of him from the recent GNU celebration [and] he looked visibly weaker." (No new media here though)
"I hope RMS will recover and pull through," an associate of ours said. My wife plans to write to RMS. He could use everybody's moral support.
Dr. Stallman turned 70 earlier this year and two days ago his most famous project, GNU, turned 40. █
