Caught in Conflicts Between Gay People and Trans People
THIS site was recently targeted by liars and criminals. This had escalated about year ago following what seemed like an act of "revenge" against the site for 'daring' to allow a gay man to speak.
Techrights does not oppose any ethnic of sexual groups. It opposes criminals. Resorting to criminal acts in an attempt to undermine free speech (or speech one merely disagrees with) is not acceptable. The matter is dealt with as a criminal matter by British police since this past August and it is being expedited as a matter of great importance if not urgency. Readers will be told the full story one day. We'll name the culprits and their crimes.
Techrights is an inherently technical site. We don't want to get caught in the 'crossfire' of various groups. It merely leads to instability and time-wasting. Having said that, we need to defend ourselves. Every site has a right if not an obligation to explain what's happening. We'll probably explain this until some time next year; it's also connected to what happened in Sirius.
Be nice to one another. Be excellent to each other. Just because you disagree with someone doesn't "excuse" you committing crimes against that someone. Nobody is above the law, at least in principle. █
