Blackmailing Linus Torvalds into seeing therapists whom he does not need to speak to (a matter of self-humiliation and time-wasting, lowering morale and damaging status)
THE "vikings" and their culture may include some certain types of humour, which Linus Torvalds repeatedly defended in his public talks. But for those looking to 'cancel' him by whatever phony 'scandal' they can feasibly come up with (or sloppily invent based on lies/distortions) there are powerful allies including Linux Foundation sponsors/bigwigs who wish to bypass the decision-making abilities of Mr. Torvalds. Heck, someone has already shown us that sometimes those sponsors directly pay and hire the 'cancel' mob.
Of course the "media", including Slashdot, played a role in this too. This is not your father's Slashdot. Defend the luminaries; they are under hatchet job-type attacks. █
