Nothing That Free Software Activists Ever Do or Say Will Satisfy Those Looking to 'Kill' (or 'Cancel') Them

THIS month's talk by Richard M. Stallman (RMS) (he gave a number of them in Europe at the end of last month and start of this month) is quite long. Here's the direct link.

The systematic attempts to silence high-profile Free software voices isn't sporadic, stochastic, or coincidental. It's a well-coordinated smear campaign, perpetrated by many of the same people, targeting the same people at the same time (we see evidence of this in Social Control Media and IRC).

We must be strong as a community and not be easily misled (thus incited). These goons who are doing this... they play a game of social engineering by deceit and sometimes perjury. They literally break the law, and doxing is just one of their many crimes. We'll be writing about this in the future. Some are script/strategy orchestrators, whereas some are mere followers (or "tools"; the Soviets would have dubbed them "useful idiots", whereas we cast them "brigade fodder").

Longtime readers probably know and can name some of the orchestrators. They're typically funded by Google et al and some operate as organisations, such as the fake "SFLC" (SFC is a fake) and fake "FSF" (the FSF-EEE isn't even meant to misuse that name!).

The community can only be as strong as its morals or as strong as its ability to reject people who are back-stabbers or sometimes opportunistic defectors.

Dr. Stallman has been back-stabbed by a lot of people over the decades, not just back-stabbed by people trying to replace him (or "inherit" his fame, stealing credit for his work) but people who demonically just try to destroy the Free Software movement in general. The latter are saboteurs, not envious wannabes. Sadly they can be persuasive with their lies and then amass a hoard of flunkies/toadies - people who are already having severe problems in their life and look for people to get angry at, even old people with cancer.
