Microsoft Larabel continues with the FAKE NEWS and MISINFORMATION. He wrote today a post named "Linux Mint 21.3 EDGE Moving To Linux 6.2 Due To Hardware Issues" [1] based on Linux Mint's December 2023 blog post [2]. In fact, Linux Mint devs only informed users that the upcoming Linux Mint 21.3 release will have an EDGE ISO powered by THE SAME Linux 6.2 kernel as the Linux Mint 21.2 EDGE ISO released in October 2023 [3]. So, NOT NEWS.

The same fake news is also spread by DistroWatch, entitled "Mint upgrades kernel for its Edge media" [4]. Again, Mint [devs] didn't upgrade anything on the EDGE ISO, it's the same Linux 6.2 kernel (from the upstream Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS release) as in the current Linux Mint 21.2 release.

This is dangerous and misinformation for users because more Linux blogs will cover this fake news in the coming days based on the "reporting" from Phoronix and DistroWatch.
