GNU/Linux in Malaysia: From 0.2 Percent to 6+ Percent
THIS data about Malaysia (ODF) is particularly interesting because it shows a 0.2% -> 6.1% increase in 15 years. That's like 30-fold increase in relative share.
This data from .my (via statCounter) isn't very authoritative, but it does show that Malaysia is definitely riding the "Linux train". Add mobile to the mix and then Windows is at ~30%. 15 years ago it was measured at ~97.5%. In the neighbouring Indonesia Windows is even lower. â–ˆ
