Recent: Germany Transitioning to GNU/Linux | statCounter: GNU/Linux Adoption in Germany Skyrockets to 7%

GNU/Linux and ChromeOS in Germany/Desktop Operating System Market Share Germany: Jan 2009 - June 2024

TODAY'S numbers from Germany (source) show that, as per the above trend, GNU/Linux gains adoption in Germany and is now, if rounded up(wards), standing at 7%. That's if we count ChromeOS too. Technically it's based on Gentoo, i.e. GNU/Linux.

The historical data shows that it wasn't always like this. Far from it. █
