    In 2021, the Cascadian bioregion (mainly Oregon, Washington, British Columbia, and Yukon) was hit with a historic heat dome leading to dangerously high temperatures across the region. On the 29th of June, the ~250 residents of Lytton, BC as well as the thousands of First Nations people living in the surrounding area witnessed temperatures of 49.6 °C—the highest-ever recorded temperature in Canada. The next day, Lytton was eviscerated by a wildfire.

    I love browsing estate sales online looking for random things. I'm usually not looking for anything specific, so if something catches my eye I usually add it to a watchlist and see if I'm up to actually bidding on it.

    I recently purchased a "vintage" stovetop espresso maker with milk frother and just finished making my first latte at home! I think it turned out pretty damn well and I can't wait to try it again and fine tune my methods.

    I don't care what name you substitute for "Xxxxx". The above is essentially support for vigilante capital punishment for a verdict of guilty from a trial in the "court" of public opinion instead of by a jury of peers, whose "evidence" are little more than public and/or news media murmurings.

    Me supporting that kind of action would imply me thinking it's the best way to "solve a problem". Clearly, well, I hoped it was clear from the text, that is NOT the case (cf. "rule-of-thumb" & "THE means"). Not condemning something does not imply supporting it.
