SOME years ago Mr. Perens recognised what Ubuntu had done to Debian and explained that in public. Remember that it was Perens who also called for a boycott of Novell around the same time we started the site Boycott Novell, so Perens is no stranger to such controversy and Microsofters want to punch him. Take a look at the video. Debian has just turned 31 and it is besieged by Microsofters, who even got voting rights in the project and are protected by Microsoft bribes.

Some time along the way Debian's leadership failed to recognise the dangers of entryism. █

Bruce Perens: Make sure your presence is known independent of Ubuntu and this is a horrible tragedy to Debian because Debian guys they make Ubuntu. Ok. Ubuntu puts frosting on what Debian does to a very great extent. And does anyone even care about Debian any more? Yeah. Ok. So. There's a little difference between you guys and everybody outside of the room.
