Here Comes Winter

Field of yellow canola - spring landscape

Today is the first day of the new year of the new site (week 53). Also, we're just past equinox.

So, basically, winter is coming. The nights get longer than the days and the temperatures fall. We've prepared our pets accordingly (this past weekend) and we're also preparing to publish a long new series, which was checked in advance by RMS and other high-profile people (for input and improvements).

In November we turn 18 (adulthood, sort of) and next year we have our "2025 Plan", which isn't bigoted but is actually against bigotry in all its forms (militants have no place here).

We've always been a progressive and mostly left-leaning site; that's not going to change because some radicals who call themselves "left" infiltrate our IRC channels and try to cause chaos.

We have a number of series planned for this coming winter and next year. Good times ahead.
