IBM is Still Spending a Lot of Money Just to Hide the Massive Scale of This Month's Layoffs
The power of NDAs (buying workers' silence) and media bribes (e.g. buying "ads", albeit with invisible or implicit strings attached such as non-renewal in exchange for unfavourable coverage):
"If One Madison Avenue has leaking toilets, it doesn't make the news. But if the place is hemorrhaging jobs thanks to Alvind, the company has to pay more money to keep that out of the news. Not all the media like the IBM company. IBM needs to bleed for all the layoffs the senior executives have done in the US. Couldn't happen to nicer people."
As noted this morning, "IBM (and Probably Red Hat) Layoffs [to Carry on] Until the End of November" and Red Hat is just "IBM" now, plus they try to trick the system or work around disclosure rules: (maybe break the rules too)
Don't expect to hear much about IBM and Red Hat layoffs even if they're happening and carry on silently (with NDAs) until the end of November, as per the central plan.
Don't ask what goes on behind company fences.
Everything is fine on the Western front and the final solution is an "IBM Solution". █
