EFF Still Uses and Relies on Donald Trump's Friend (Elon Musk) for Campaigning and It Gets No Response (Except From FFII's President)
...He reminds them the issue isn't just "bad patents" or "patent trolls" but software patents (which the trolls use about 70% of the time, according to old estimates):
Given that the current EFF piles up money from billionaires and GAFAM, can the EFF frame the issue as a software patents issue?
The FFII's President (the previous one had abandoned Twitter) told us this got delayed, but apparently the EFF (7 hours ago) isn't and wasn't even aware of that yet. That's funny given that the EFF is American, the FFII's President is Belgian, and these bills are both in the US. The EFF has long ignored EPO corruption and our outreach to them on this matter (repeatedly!) fell on deaf ears.
Perhaps the moment European billionaires and European SMEs (what's left of them after patent trolling) pay them to care, they will start talking about the illegal kangaroo court for patents, among other pressing issues...

As shown in the screenshot above, 3 tweets from the EFF (almost half a day ago) attracted no feedback from anyone except the FFII's President, who tries to redirect them in a more fruitful direction.
It's also worth noting that in spite of the EFF claiming to have ~487,000 "followers" in Twitter, not even 1% of these merely see those tweets*. Remember who's in charge of "X" other than the admirer of Vladimir Putin. If the EFF values women's rights (not their decapitation by the sword for "crimes" such as alleged witchcraft), it'll quit "X" like some major newspapers do. █

Imagine having 1,000 RSS/Atom subscribers and only 10 of them (at most) merely see what you post! "X" is worse than an utter waste of time. EFF ought to issue a call (like a campaign) to quit "X".
