Microsoft Has Already Laid Off Tens of Thousands of Workers, "Headcount" is Misleading Spin From Microsoft-Funded Sites
Published hours ago:
"Headcount" (people with badges, metaphorically speaking) is how we keep seeing sites that are paid by Microsoft (they even admit this!) trying to pretend that everything is alright. IBM does the same thing, as we explained a day ago (hopefully in a way everyone can understand).
Microsoft is a rotting company that's sinking and drowning in debt. It has no actual future plans other than vapourware that merely loses a ton of money and is still making no progress (the losses get worse every year). Expect Microsoft to suck up to Trump, looking for more bailouts (those typically manifest themselves in the form of "defence" contracts). The layoffs will carry on, Microsoft will try to hide these with NDAs, but some staff that got laid off will blow the whistle and relevant data speak for itself. The bleeding takes no breaks. The people who Microsoft can hire sometimes turn out to be criminals; those whom Microsoft can retain aren't good because most workers want to leave.
It is a downward spiral at this point.
We think it's quite revealing that several Microsofters are trying to terrorise us for merely talking about it. This will backfire on them very badly, not only in courtrooms [1, 2]. They seem to believe that attacking the messenger is a shrewd strategy, having already attacked women.
We find it a bit flattering that Microsofters would go this far in an effort to silence us. █
