IBM Engagement Surveys "Are Usually Useful for the Executives So They Know Which Things to Ignore"
Having just caught up with this aforementioned discussion thread, an hour ago someone said about "IBM Engagement Surveys" that: "They are usually useful for the executive so they know which things to ignore. The more you complain about something the more likely they are not to do anything about it as a matter of fact, they make it even worse..."
Another new comment in another thread said about the silent mass layoffs at IBM that "as always there will be multiple rounds and we can make an assumption that this year is going to be just like any previous year. They just keep doing it. There should be nothing unusual about 2025 as it will be just another year. We can also make an assumption that the executive bonuses will be going up. so when you look at it, it’s business as usual..."
This impacts Red Hat as well. They no longer distinguish between Red Hat and IBM because Red Hat got what they had long called "bluewashed" (companies after IBM buys them). This is why days ago Red Hat was promoting Microsoft Windows (WSL*) and generally speaks in buzzwords instead of meaningful technical terms. Notice how, despite Vista 10 users being abandoned by Microsoft, Red Hat has done nothing whatsoever to pitch GNU/Linux to them. NOTHING! Follow the money... █
