Wind
The UK has been attacked by weather. Yes, we are under attack. Only explanation for the 60 mile per hour (~90km/h) gusts! Well that is locally. There are lots of areas with red alets while I am only in a yellow alert. Roads have been blocked by many a fallen tree. The M42, a motorway near by, has been blocked at least twice thanks to traffic cones being blown all over the joint and some trees blocking 3 lanes.
The pressures are messing with the head. Sort of on the verge of a migraine all the time. It has been like that all week. Odd and mostly pointless.

late night at the pub
He gently opens the door, in his hand a book of poems written by his favorite jewish writer, and in the other hand a pack of cigarettes that's always about to finish. He asks the bartender for one beer, he's still new to this foreign malt, his local beer taste lingers in the back of his mind, along with the long conversations he used to have with the old bar owner in his hometown, and the laugh or two he shared with his comrades in that old place. A drunk man reach out to him, asking him about his weird accent, years of living in the western hemisphere didn't change the roots of his Arabian tongue, he feels a little bit of warmth in his heart, he hadn't spoken to a person in a week, the hint of a human interaction made him feel alive again.

don't mind me
~bartender, an amaretto sour, please?
this is paralyzing to even write. not because of anyone already here, not as far as I know — but instead because of who I told about this place before I made it in.
forgive my manners; gentle reader, I must start by giving you something from my past. I would have included the author's original post, but she has since deleted it. as such, in the spirit of my past selves, I give you instead the oldest and crustiest mirrors I could find.

Full Cleanse
The first day of using castor oil turned into a full fledged detox.
I'm now on day 3
It all started with a feeling bloated and uncomfortable. I took a table spoon of castor oil, a lot of water, and ate chia seed and blueberry for breakfast. I then didn't want to each too much as the castor oil was doing its job.

week 49 - christmas ready
sigh. another chaotic and disjointed week, window people coming in and out. both notebooks turned out to not-be-it, so i haven't been journaling properly, maybe that's part of the grumpiness. but also thumb issues continue so idk if writing is recommended anyway. trying to keep it in a brace but i do a lot of stuff that requires wet and/or dirty hands so :/ extra annoyed that i have to use my hand for that but can't use it for fun stuff.

Armour in 2d6 Ultraviolet Grasslands
I'm running Ultraviolet Grasslands (UVG) using 2d6 rules. UVG itself uses d20 rules and so I often have to translate back and forth and it is not very satisfying, to be honest.
So what to do? In a recent episode of the Internet Office Hours podcast, @Whidou@ludosphere.fr suggested a system of immunities. So here are my thoughts.

Dev Log 2
A pretty easy day today. Added a 32-bit linear feedback shift register (LFSR). Next step will be adding some code to convert random bits from the LFSR into arbitrary random numbers so I can add a deck shuffle function.
