Changes or Variation of Logo at the FSF as 40th Anniversary is Near (Months Away)
Next year the Free Software Foundation (FSF) turns 40. GNU will turn 42 - an age that Linux might never reach even if it can outlive Rust. The logo of the FSF is very familiar to many people. Unlike Mozilla's cluster**** with its constant logos flux, the FSF's logo has been used for decades, practically unchanged. There are variations, e.g.:
The FSF is looking for suggestions ahead of its big anniversary. It's also doing a terrific job fund-raising this month (over $162,000 raised so far), even though it's facing vicious attacks in social control media, mostly coming from vicious mobsters who attack neurodiversity and neurodivergence. They call these attacks "social justice" and pretend that it's about tolerance. Nothing could be further from the truth and it's not hard to see who funds those attacks, i.e. the usual (GAFAM). █
