Bonum Certa Men Certa

There's an Abundance of Articles About the New Release of Kali Linux, But This One is a Fake

So far we've collected about a dozen articles about the new release of Kali Linux, including the original from the official site.

Do not be misled though; some are fake, at the very least this one:

Kali Linux 2024.4: Cutting-Edge Tools and Expanded Hardware Support

Is this plagiarised via bots?

If you're an admin responsible for managing and securing one or more Linux systems, you already know the importance of having top-notch tools at your disposal. The latest Kali Linux 2024.4 release is designed with you in mind, bringing new features and enhancements to make your job easier and more efficient!

This release introduces a range of new tools like bloodyad for Active Directory privilege escalation and web-cache-vulnerability-scanner for probing web cache security, equipping you with the latest penetration testing capabilities. But that's not all—Kali NetHunter now includes Wifipumpkin3, replacing the old Mana toolkit, and comes with a handy new Kernel tab to streamline kernel updates directly from the app.

Pattern scanners are quite sure this one is fake, as usual from that author (we covered another example this morning).

If the text is made from a model trained on the original (and original articles) for some rephrasing and permutations, that's still fake. This should be very strongly discouraged. It can add nothing except casual misinformation (fed back into the model to reinforce lies).
