The Free Software Foundation's (FSF) Holiday Fund-Raising Campaign Reaches About $303,000

posted by Roy Schestowitz on Jan 01, 2025

Last night: Free Software Foundation (FSF) Raises about $50,000 After Saying We Should Put Pressure on Microsoft, Might Exceed $300,000 in Total Before 2025 (Boston Time)

Right now: (in some parts of the US it's still 2024)

Associate members give us the strength to amplify the free software message -- each new member exponentially increases our reach and our ability to make change.

Remember that the FSF is 50% female, unlike the people who keep attacking the FSF while claiming to "protect" women (in practice these malicious concern trolls viciously attack women).

We've raised over $300,000 in 1.5 months; Microsoft-sponsored trolls

Microsoft bigots and fanatics seem very upset that the FSF raised about 50,000 US dollars after it had taken on Microsoft, bringing the tally to $302,606 at the time of writing. It's quite an accomplishment considering the fact that the FSF added the very same people whom the Microsofters keep slandering and attacking in all sorts of other ways.
