With 10 Days Left the Free Software Foundation (FSF) Looks to Raise Just Over $50,000 More
More than 10 days in Boston (eastern coast); they've raised about 8 thousand dollars in 2.5 days or the past weekend
Back in November we argued that the FSF had set the target over-ambitiously at 400,000 US dollars (for winter alone). We were right, but we expected the cutoff day to be extended to some time in January (it did in fact happen). At the end of 2024 the FSF spoke out against Microsoft and then raised about $50,000 in about two days! As a reaction to this, Microsofters (whose lawyers are receiving Microsoft money to harass me) blasted the FSF in social control media - using bad language, as usual - and blog post that's just a dumpster fire of what's left of the social control media trash.
Next Tuesday there's a court hearing discussing our lawsuit against the Microsofters [1, 2] (who are backed by notorious lawyers who received Microsoft money some months ago; they foolishly made this known to us). The lawsuit is about more than us, so investing even $100,000 in it was worth every penny. Microsoft will pay for it. The notorious lawyers will pay for it. The Microsofters* will pay for it. █
_____
* Microsofters - perhaps not sober enough to judge their actions - do plenty of self-incriminating things [1, 2] and joke about how they'll suffer the consequences for their actions. Now they do. This has long been in the making.
