The list above is new, but the controversy is not. Some people bring this up now, knowing that IBM's CEO came from Asia and people who worked for IBM go work for China after IBM (new high-profile example [1, 2]). We're not saying it's immoral, it's just that some people consider it illegal or at least evidence of IBM flouting rules.
