There Used to be an Actual Community in SUSE (OpenSUSE is Dying)
OpenSUSE might not be around for much longer, certainly not with the name "OpenSUSE".
It's the same thing that happened to Fedora and Planet OpenSUSE has become almost empty. Volunteers with programming skills don't want to become slaves of Microsoft resellers.
Now the bosses (masters) want OpenSUSE to rebrand and people won't step up to play ball:

SUSE is not run by people who understand Free software. It's governed by people who probably admire Bill Gates, just like Jim Zemlin at the Gates-connected Linux Foundation, where Microsoft now exercises more control than any other company. █
