BetaNews' Managing Editor Wayne William Took Charge of GNU/Linux Articles and His Articles Are Real (He Actually Wrote Them)
Earlier this month: It Looks Like BetaNews' Managing Editor Wayne Williams is Taking Over From Fagioli After Repeat Pattern of LLM Slop (State-of-the-Art Plagiarism) About "Linux" | It Seems Like BetaNews is Finally Deleting Fake 'Articles' About "Linux" by LLM Slop (aka Brian Fagioli)
WE do not believe in guilt by extension or by association, so to accuse everything and everyone at BetaNews of being "Serial Slopper" would be unfair.
We are frankly relieved to see that Wayne William recognised the problem and did something about it. A good leader can acknowledge mistakes and try to correct them.
LLM slop is a threat to many things, including journalism. It's not because it "replaces" journalists; it is just "zone-flooding". █
