Yesterday: Moving Away From Certificate Authorities (CAs) Like Let's Encrypt Means Taking Away From the US Government the Power to 'Censor' Sites by Revoking Certificates

Today: "2694 (91.4 %) capsules are self-signed, 10 (0.3 %) use the Certificate Authority Let's Encrypt, 244 (8.3 %) are signed by another CA (may be not a trusted one)."

We assume that most readers can agree that letting the US Government control the Net or the Web isn't a good idea. It's therefore good news that Geminispace is moving further and further away from centralised Certificate Authorities (CAs). The number of capsules that use Let's Encrypt is, according to Lupa, about to fall to single-digit figures. █
