In Europe and in India Richard Stallman Need Not Duck Anymore, People Trying to Cancel His Talk Have No Sway
ONE week from now (minus 1 hour) Richard Stallman will deliver a talk about Software Freedom (the University of Bozen-Bolzano hosts this event). Yesterday another Italian site published yet another article about Dr. Stallman - the third one in Italy and in Italian by our count (certainly there are more out there).
From what we can gather, the last time a talk by Dr. Stallman got canceled was about a year ago. Trying to silence an innocent person generally doesn't work. At the end, Dr. Stallman will tell a lot of people what really happened and how GNU/Linux started more than 40 years ago in Boston, not in the 1990s. This past week we saw Linus Torvalds being subjected to brigading as well. Torvalds and Stallman share this problem. █
