Because nothing says "Open Source" like GPL violations facilitated by Microsoft [1, 2]

The OSI only needs to speak more and more to make our case stronger. It's not only rogue and corrupt; it exists to serve and advance Microsoft with its proprietary, FOSS-hostile jails.

The sooner the OSI is gone, the better. There will be something to replace it. Perhaps Stefano and Nick can be redeployed "to Make ChatGPT Less Toxic" for Microsoft, their current master. █
