The Issue Isn't GNOME's Promotion of Diversity But GNOME Corruption, Abuse, Censorship, and Worse
There has been a dispute online between some GNOME developers and GNOME critics. There are some clues here. We don't want to repeat what's being said but instead highlight the sorts of things that people ought to talk about if they're going to condemn GNOME for something:
- GNOME Foundation
- Big Trouble in GNOME
- GNOME, Microsoft, and GitHub: The Lack of Reporting on Abusive Colleagues Contributed to Profound Media Vacuum (or Blackout), Now Resorting to SLAPPs
- Nat Friedman Had Left Microsoft GitHub Exactly One Week Before Matthew Garrett Sent His First SLAPP (Which Was an Empty Threat, He Was Abusing the Legal System of Another Continent to Terrorise Critics Who Had Just Unearthed Major Microsoft Scandals)
- GNOME Foundation and OSI Move on to 'Extend' Phase Against the Free Software Definition (or Against Software Freedom)
- GNOME (IBM/Red Hat Staff) Promoting Microsoft's 'Security' Scam With the 'Secure' Boot Sham
- Latest Software Patent Lawsuit Against GNU/Linux (GNOME) is Connected to Microsoft
So-called "Conservative" (republican, pro-Trump, bigoted) people want you to think the problem with GNOME is politics. That's a distraction at best. █
