Abuse Inside the Polish Patent Office (UPRP) - Part VIII: Illegal Working Conditions
How many people need to die for these people to get their massive salaries?
How many scientists will be silenced for merely talking about it? Why do honest people suffer, whereas corrupt people get ahead and what does this tell us about EU culture?
In yesterday's part we spoke about how UPRP had worked to hide misconduct and even some illegal things that still attract political scrutiny.
There's another similarity between the EPO and UPRP, namely the mistreatment of staff and neglect of health [1, 2]. Sounds a lot like the EPO? Because it's the same if not worse.
"We worked a lot, exceeding the permissible work standards by 3 times. Our health failed," one person told us.
Remember that this was happening while Alicja Adamczak was backing the attacks on EPO staff, which had already suffered for years.
Alicja Adamczak was the president of the Office and then Edyta Demby-Siwek used the Office for personal promotion, as covered in the last part. They destroyed the lives of many people just for their own career's sake, i.e. for personal gain. █
