Nope, not just Wayland and UEFI (mandating Microsoft control). The IBM cull continues.
The new replaces the old. That's how IBM frames it. If you don't get on with the show, you're a Luddite - or worse - a nazi.
Older software or games? WHY WOULD ANYBODY WANT THAT? So said IBM. If you don't agree, you'll be CoCed out of existence. Problem solved for IBM.

What IBM does isn't adding choice. It's removing choice. It lessens freedom. Replacing one thing with another may mean that tens of thousands of other things become unavailable. █
