GNU/Linux Rises to New Highs in Angola, Africa in General is Abandoning Windows
Microsoft has its own 'battle' in Angola:
This year GNU/Linux reaches new highs in Africa or across the continent. One can guess that many "old" PCs are converted into GNU/Linux PCs.
In the case of Angola, GNU/Linux rises fast, just like in Sierra Leone, as mentioned earlier today, though many other examples exist.
Western media barely covers Microsoft layoffs in Africa, but in recent years Microsoft culled the workforce and even shut down entire operations in Africa. Many people in Africa moved to Android.
In Africa, "Windows 11" means Windows at 11%:
Maybe by the end of summer it'll be "Windows 10", i.e. Windows at 10% or less. █
