The Slopfarms Are Losing the Plot (and Google is Propping Up Rogue Sites)
Google News keeps promoting a couple of slopfarms (run by the same people) that attack Linux with FUD, generated by machines, not humans. All the text and all the images are slop. Here's a new example from these slopfarms: (of course Google News is promoting these as news)
The images are randomly-made ripoffs of other people's work, fused together.
Notice the titles:
1. Chinese Houken Group Exploits Ivanti CSA Zero-Days to Install Linux Rootkits
2. Chinese Houken Hackers Exploiting Ivanti CSA Zero-Days to Deploy Linux Rootkits
There is barely even variation. The permutation is in 2.5 words. Why the heck does Google promote this LLM slop?
Ivanti is proprietary nonsense by the way. The above is an Ivanti issue, not Linux.
Hours ago Google also promoted the following pair in Google News:
Google basically badmouths both Linux and SSH using LLM slop!
Shame on you, Google! Shame on the slopfarms, sure, but Google could do better. Instead Google became an active LLM pusher.
Google is part of the attack on the Web, on information, and on technology. █
