GitHub Copilot Can Cause the Bankruptcy of GitHub to Come Sooner and GitHub to be Shut Down Just Like Skype
Days ago: Mozilla Had No Good Reason to Outsource Firefox Development to Microsoft
When Microsoft's Nat Friedman and his best friend, the Serial Strangler from Microsoft, plotted to engage in the biggest GPL violation ever they didn't quite envision they'd end up unemployed and Microsoft would end up even deeper in debt, not just because of class action lawsuits but also energy bills. LLM coding [sic] "is a scam" and there is ample evidence of that. Microsoft is just making a lot of hot air over nothing. While losing billion of dollars on "hey hi" it is planting in "the news" (chaff) some blurbs about how it "saves" half a billion dollars with "hey hi".
Some publicly available information suggests that even for each paid subscriber for plagiarism (LLM 'coding') GitHub Copilot still loses more money than it makes. Had that legally-questionable "GitHub Copilot" been a standalone business, it would be bankrupt. So it's at the mercy of Microsoft or only a matter of time before it get 'Skyped'. █
