It's Not Just Twitter (or X.com) That's Dying, Microsoft's Equivalent is Dying Also
Unable to find a business model
It's hardly a secret that top-level people quit LinkedIn, offices get shut down permanently, there are mass layoffs, and traffic/engagement is down. This has gone on for years already. LinkedIn is dying; it is a "burning platform", to use or reuse the words of a Microsoft mole (Elop inside Nokia).
At the moment even some right-leaning people are disturbed by what X.com became (we put that in Daily Links), the CEO has just fled the scene, and it starts to make sense that "Ye" (Kanye West) adopted that as his "go-to" platform.
But what about Microsoft LinkedIn?
Almost nobody talks about Microsoft LinkedIn because not many people use it and it was never an important platform compared to the "big few" (various Facebook sites and Chinese sites).
Don't expect much chatter about the latest Microsoft LinkedIn layoffs either. Many people just simply forgot the site exists. █
