The EFF Sided With the Team That Strangles Women and Tells Women to Kill Themselves
Once Mr. Barlow died she (Cohn) could ruin the EFF and oust his friends:
They say that apathy and inaction are a form of a "stance". There are sayings to the effect of, inaction in the face of injustice is sort of like participating in it. There are many metaphors around that concept. Some times in the future we'll share a story about the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF).
Just... not yet.
The Free Software Foundation (FSF) is turning 40 in a few months. The EFF has just turned 35. Its chief (who merely inherited power from the co-founders due to a death, then ousted the other co-founder, who is now in the FSF's Board) is quoted as saying that in its "year-long 35th Anniversary celebration, our dedicated activists, investigators, technologists, and attorneys will share the lessons from EFF’s long and rich history so that we can help overcome the obstacles ahead."
I used to believe that Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) stood up for justice, for bloggers, even for women.
I was naive to believe that.
The Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) does support Microsoft employees who are female. It gives them awards. Yes! For "privacy"!
If you have money to spare, then give it to the FSF, not the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF), which already drowns in money.
In the future we shall show why (after my wife's lawsuit against misogynists [1, 2], enabled by other misogynists and proto-racists). █
