BaseLibre Numerical System - Part Base
For the last few years, I have been fascinated with a tool for calculation, called "abacus". This led me to the creation of the BaseLibre numerical system.
After much experiment, and after many drafts, I am now settling with the Chinese Abacus. This abacus type is probably the most ancient today, and I now see why this, in my opinion, is the original abacus (that the East part of the World has given with to us).
This BaseLibre numerical system derives from studying the abacus, and suits well for Logic and for abacus calculation. In fact, I have discovered that today's Math lacks much logic.

A better way to add more domains to a Gemini capsule's certificate
In response to my quick post about replacing the certificate on this Gemini capsule, sbr mailed me that I could have just kept the same private key and generated a new certificate with the same key, which avoids the surprise for people who have the certificate cached in their Gemini browsers already. The browser will not be alarmed if the new certificate with the added domains uses the same private key as the previous certificate.

OCC - Simple Web Browsing with TLS
My goal was to have a smallnet web browser that could handle graphics and not choke on TLS like the ancient Iceweasel that ships with Debian Lenny. I originally tried to compile a more recent version of Dillo, but ran into errors and gave up. Then I remembered that the links browser supported graphics, and ended up being able to compile and link the latest version with libressl and the older image libraries present on Debian Lenny - I was even able to add webp support. Here is how I did it.

Resurrection
Yes, it's been a long time. I broke my gemini server while upgrading the entire box and had to fix a lot of stuff, in particular the SSL certificate parsing.

[Old] We value your privacy
For me, this is one of the most irritating and broken things about the internet. And in the long run, night be one of the best things.
Let's consider what's going on here.
Any site that declares that they value my privacy are, without exception, do not. They are legally obliged to ask my permission to store cookies and are doing so grudgingly by shoving a full-screen modal dialog in my face. There are all kinds of dark patterns at work here.

* Gemini (Primer) links can be opened using Gemini software. It's like the World Wide Web but a lot lighter.
