UK Media Under Threat: Cannot Report on Data Breach, Cannot Report on Microsoft Staff Strangling Women
The story of super injunction (in the British media this week, years late)
Yesterday: Why I am Suing the Serial Strangler From Microsoft, Alex Balabhadra Graveley, in the UK High Court This Week | How Many Women Has Microsoft's Alex Balabhadra Graveley Already Strangled and Where Does That End?
The Microsofters and Brett Wilson LLP have repeatedly tried to issue injunctions against me, basically preventing this site from simply reporting facts. The last such attempt is months old and Microsoft money funded it.
Described this week as "deeply disturbing" [1], it seems like the practice is common and troubling for obvious reasons. It presents trouble "for press freedom", according to Lewis Goodall [2].
To what extent can the British public tolerate:
- Some "gun for hire" in London profits from silencing reporters in the UK?
- That (1) is done on behalf of Americans working for a highly abusive American company (Microsoft)?
- That (2) is done under strong financial pressure by Microsoft money (salaries), where the "gun for hire" strongly depends on that money?
- That those who merely report crimes are being treated as criminals and get sent over 5 kilograms of legal papers?
- That even the wife of the reporter is being severely harassed? [1, 2]
This is a flailing firm and barrister of misogynists. They help men attack vulnerable, helpless women. That is not to say all women are the same; framing women as helpless in general would not be the most helpful narrative, however in this case, in case it comes across that way, and moreover as the texts must stand on their own (some won't follow the links), the person in question was not represented (it's very expensive), the claims were made sparse in a likely abusive fashion, the claimant was male and affluent (like the Judge), and in cases like these the outcome is based on pockets' depth - not debt - or kilograms in the docket. It is not the fair system the media leads us to assume exists here or elsewhere. It fails people. █
