My Journey into Formula 1: A Year of Excitement and Discovery
This year, I decided to dive into the thrilling world of Formula 1, and it has been an exhilarating experience! My motivation was twofold: I wanted to spend quality time with my husband, who is a long-time fan, and I was genuinely intrigued by the strategies and marketing that drive this high-octane sport.
To kick off my journey, I started watching Drive to Survive, which provided an excellent introduction to the drivers and the intricate dynamics of the teams. The series not only showcased the intense competition on the track but also highlighted the personal stories behind each driver, making it easier for me to connect with them.
Of course, I had my husband, Toby, as my guide, especially in the beginning when I was mixing up driver names and teams. His passion for the sport was infectious, and he patiently helped me navigate the complexities of F1, from understanding the different teams to grasping the significance of various races.

“Climate Justice” is the new “Carbon Footprint”
“Carbon footprint” is widely recognized to be “BP talk” to blame you the individual for your burger while Musk has four jetplanes.
These days, “climate justice” is the new “carbon footprint”. Both are technically true (and vital) but designed to tangle us up while they are drilling like crazy.
In the ecological movement we had been talking about “footprint” throughout the 90s and early 00s. It is a true and real thing (although mostly applied on the organizational, systematic level rather than individuals).; BP latched on to an existing thing with their insiduous campaign.

You can just fork things
People are getting twitchy about unmaintained free-software programs that likely have broken builds because it’s been two years since they were last touched.
I’m here to remind you that you can just fork things.
