Apple Vision Pro Failed So Badly That Its Sales Are About 2,000 Times Smaller Than iPhone Sales
What's left for Apple to offer other than hype?
Earlier this month Apple booster Mark Gurman described Apple's Vision Pro as "struggling" (it's right there in the headline). It is difficult to find real, definitive numbers about the number of actual sales* (to people, not to shops which merely stock these on shelves and in warehouses), so it must be so bad that Apple would rather not share accurate information and instead speak about "iPhones" (or similar products).
"After 735 days since its initial unveiling and 493 days since its US release," said an Australian site last month, "its hefty anticipated price tag has created significant headwinds for the product."
When a developer targets this kind of device the "target" market is hundreds of thousands of people worldwide. Remember that the number of iPhones sold (all combined) would be a few billions.
Apple, one of the A's in GAFAM, already has waves of mass layoffs. The media resorts to spin when covering these. Apple is about 100 billion dollars in debt. █

* Earlier this year this pro-Apple site said that: "[g]etting precise numbers is tough, but a safe estimate is that Apple sold no more than ~500,000 units of the Vision Pro worldwide."
