Most Editors at The Register Are American, Including the Editor in Chief, a Decade-Long Microsoft Stenographer (Writing Prose to Sell Microsoft)
Having just checked the list of editors and verifying one by one, it seems safe to say "The Register UK" might as well be called The Register US or The Register MS. The most worrying thing, however, is the change at the top, which is only weeks-old. I only found this out after attempting to contact the editor that I knew and had spoken to (and who quietly left or got sacked).
I thought about taking a screenshot of editors with their locality annotated, but that would make it too personal.
Anyway, calling it The Register MS or The Register US would make sense now. It's not easy to tell where the site is based (we tried) because it's hiding behind ClownFlare and CrimeFlare hasn't been well lately. Technically, ClownFlare is a military-connected American company, so The Register MS or The Register US serves pages from the US (or its proxies in the UK). █
