Maldives: GNU/Linux at All-Time High, Windows at New Lows

Maldives has been in the news headlines lately in relation to sovereign state matters (islands and large countries near to it). But the media does not write much about technology there, albeit data from statCounter shows a reassuring trend. Watch how much GNU/Linux has gained in recent years and what's happening to Windows, whose parent company borrows money like mad.

This month we see Windows falling to all-time lows in many countries, Colombia for example. The main gainer (at its expense) is GNU/Linux. █
