Not just because people move to GNU/Linux

Over the past few days I looked at statCounter's data for this summer regarding Windows versions. In many countries it seems like Vista 11 gets deleted or replaced. We assume that some new PCs that come with Vista 11 pre-loaded have it removed.

Here are examples from south-east Asia:

We see a lot of the same in South America.

"U OK, Microsoft?"

statCounter suggests that the worldwide trend shows Vista 11 down, not up, this month. █
