Personal Attacks From Rust People Serve to Confirm They Have Lost the Argument
Today in IRC we spoke about personal attacks on Rust critics. We spoke about that yesterday as well, seeing that when they lose the argument they tend to attack and try to intimidate the messenger/s. "The discussion I find around the net so far has no technical merit and centers around ad hominem," an associate argues this morning, "thus confirming Sami is correct".
One way to 'troll' Sami (according to him) was to point out they moved to some other communication software (with other sorts of issues), even if his article (back when he wrote it) was correct.
It seems ridiculous that they take criticism published in March, then change accordingly, then (in August) claim that it is not correct, due to changes made since (i.e. some time after) March. █
