Weeks ago: Over 3 Months Later Brett Wilson LLP Still Unable to Recruit a Media Lawyer? (to replace those who leave)

Now they lower the standards (as low as 3 Post-Qualified Experience/PQE), as 4 months and at least 5 ads netted nobody. Hours ago:

Solicitor: Media and Communications Law

Solicitor: Media and Communications Law (3 - 6 PQE)

I'd really rather focus on GNU/Linux and Free software issues (sometimes patent-related topics [1, 2]), but it has come to my attention that after 4 months the people who bullied me and my wife since February 2024 are unable to recruit. Staff leaves, headcount goes down fast (about 20% decrease in 2 years), and they cannot meet deadlines or follow Orders from Judges. They are repeatedly failing at it. The SLAPPers and abusive filers threw into a limbo existing schedules in both "twin" cases, in effect leaving Orders in a state of disarray, seeing there were already counterclaims for harassment and abusive litigation (abuse of process).

Imagine how Judges would react when they found out or when they realised that the Microsofters who filed cases at the High Court said in public it would be "funny", knowing it would incur considerable legal costs against an already poor publisher on shoestring budget, moreover lumping in the wife into the list of Defendants for intimidation's sake, then repeatedly issuing extortionate threats to "settle" (i.e. to surrender).

That the law firm now has difficulties is true karma. Brett Wilson LLP Solicitors is being rude and combative towards myself and towards my wife. Their latest message was once again engaging in unnecessary name-calling while issuing threats (not veiled but explicit threats) to me and to my dear wife, i.e. the usual. Later Brett Wilson LLP Solicitors express disdain and disgust because I merely point out facts, which Brett Wilson LLP Solicitors wrongly perceive as baseless criticism. It's never baseless.

Ad hominem is a form of distraction as well as an attempt to both drag things off topic and drag things out for time. The latter suggests that moving faster, if possible, would be putting their abusive litigation tactics at a further disadvantage.

Courts are generally slow (there is a considerable time overhead), but the issues at hand are not hard to comprehend.

It cannot be emphasised strongly enough that Brett Wilson LLP Solicitors had about 200 days to prepare witness statements. It failed to do so. And so far they've only missed the deadline set by a Master, they're unable to meet deadlines and maybe lack budget for a Defence, so they appear to be projecting; it is bluster as they get aggressive against the person who always meets deadlines (and fulfils Orders).

Brett Wilson LLP Solicitors' stance as a law firm borders on naked misogyny, which may or may not have contributed to two women staff leaving the firm only weeks ago.

I still struggle to understand whose idea it was to take two American Microsofters as clients, including a serial harasser [1, 2] and Serial Strangler. Then again, considering their financial state, they probably felt like they had no choice because they really needed this Microsoft money.
